I sent an email around to my music pals this morning, and will blog more later: Dickie Peterson, pioneering loud bassist and gravel-throated singer of beloved heavy rawkers Blue Cheer passed away in Germany. I suggest we all set aside a few cacophonous moments cranking VINCEBUS ERUPTUM in Dickie's honor. I think he'd appreciate that a lot more than silence.
